Alexandra Stevenson resides in Beijing and has worked for China Radio International and Asia Weekly news magazine. She has experience in broadcast and print, most recently reporting on the 20th anniversary of Tiananmen for Canada AM, Canada’s national morning news show. She covered the Olympics for About.com’s Off the Press Bus.
Alexandra writes about politics, business and culture for North American publications like Adbusters, Glimpse, and Women’s Post, and Asian publications like China Economic Review, China International Business Magazine and EuroBiz. After graduating with honors in Political Science from McGill University, Alexandra studied Mandarin at Liaoning Normal University in Dalian, China. Her interest in Asia began as a child when she lived in Bangkok for six years, attending the Thai language Chitralada Palace School.
